Let me guess, you’re still wasting your time going to the store day after day? Are we seriously going to have this discussion? Look, I am here to let you know about a few different things. One of the things I am most passionate about in my life is online shopping. Some might say that I have an addiction to online shopping, but I would come back to say that I just have a good eye for deals and convenience. I used to be like you - someone so pathetic that I would find myself in Walmart every week trying to find the things that I need. Can you imagine seeing someone of my stature in Walmart on a random weekday? Personally, it makes me sad to even think about that. I can finally say that I have completely transitioned from shopping in stores to shopping exclusively online. This is a pretty big change for most people, including myself. I used to be like your everyday average person, who would go to Kroger to get groceries a couple times a week and travel to the mall or downtown areas on the weekends to buy whatever could temporarily fill the void in my consumeristic heart. However, I can now proudly say that shopping in-stores is a thing of the past for me in my life.
It all started when everything was shut down due to COVID19. And when I say everything, I mean everything! Pretty much any store that was deemed as unnecessary by the government was forced to temporarily close. This issue became extremely political, and honestly I don’t get all the hype around it. To me, all this doesn’t really make sense. Anyways, I started ordering most of my stuff that I needed online instead of going into certain stores. At first, I started doing this because it was my only option due to the fact that everywhere else was closed. However, like a lot of people in the United States, I quickly realized that ordering all my stuff online was super convenient and way easier than ever having to leave my house. Imagine the poor sap that still regularly goes into town to buy random home goods or consumer products; I wouldn’t be caught dead in a Walmart, let alone a place like Home Depot. In fact, pretty much anything I buy is from the internet, including groceries.
Yes, you read that right. You can even buy your own groceries online nowadays, and have them delivered right to your door. This is really convenient for someone like me who is pretty much busy all the time. I get up early in the mornings to workout, and then I have to go to work all day and grind out some emails and other articles for my place of employment. By the time I get home in the evening, I am way too tired to try to go buy some groceries from the store. I can’t tell you how amazing it is to get home and see a bunch of cardboard boxes waiting for me on my doorstep. The reason I get so excited is because those cardboard boxes contain all the consumer goods, groceries, and other stuff that I purchased online over the course of the past few days. Honestly, why don’t you just order stuff online already?
